JSC, JDC students to be promoted to Class IX after school evaluations

The education ministry has asked the educational institutions in the country to promote candidates of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and equivalent exams to the next grade after evaluation in respective schools as the public exams won’t take place this year due to Covid-19.

Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education gave a notification on this regard on Tuesday.

However, no guidelines about the evaluation process were provided.

Earlier on September 1, the Education Minstry issued a notification suspending JSC and equivalent exams.
