Stocks slip after two-day gain

All indices of both the stock markets declined on Wednesday. At the same time, the amount of money for traded shares and the share and unit prices of most companies decreased.

The main index of DSE, DSEX shed 12 points and is stood at 5,105 points.

Among other indices of DSE, Shariah index decreased by 6 point and DSE-30 index decreased by 3 points to stand at 1,163 and 1,762 points respectively.

Shares and units of 1,013.79 crore taka were traded on the DSE on Thursday. Of the 354 issues traded, 107 gained, 210 fell while 37 remained unchanged.

On the other hand, the key index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CASPI decreased by 11 points to 14,580 points on Thursday. Shares and units worth of 27.08 crore taka were traded at the CSE.  

Among the 278 issues traded during the day, 87 gained, 144 declined and 47 remained unchanged.
