Attorney General moved to ICU as health condition worsens

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam has been shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital (CMCH) in Dhaka as his health condition deteriorated due to Covid-19 infection.

Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik confirmed the matter to the media.

He said the attorney general seemed to be in a good health Thursday night. But his health condition worsened Friday morning, after which he was moved to the ICU.

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam was admitted to CMH on September 4 with a high fever and was then was diagnosed with Covid-19. He had been receiving treatment there since.
