Asian Chess: Bangladesh earns 7 points from six matches

Bangladesh earned seven points from six matches in the Asian Nations Cup Online Chess Championship 202O on Friday.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th round matches of the open section were held on Friday.

In the day's 4th round, Bangladesh team lost to Australia by 3.5 -05 game points.

Only GM Ziaur Rahman drew with GM Illingworth, Max of Australia.

GM Niaz Murshed, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, GM Ziaur Rahman and GM Reefat Bin Sattar lost to GM Smirnov, Anton, GM Kuybokarov, Temur and GM Ly, Moulthun of Australia respectively.

In the day's 5th round, Bangladesh beat Tajikistan by 2 5-1 5 game points.

GM Reefat and IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin Sagor won against Khusenkhojaev Mustafokhuja and Sharifov Mekhriddin of Tajikistan respectively.

GM Zia drew with Kabilov, Amin and IM Fahad lost to Karimov, Alisher.

In the 6th round, Bangladesh lost to Kyrgyzstan by 2.5-1.5 game points.

GM Niaz and GM Zia drew with IM Markov Mikhail and IM Abdyjapar, Asyl of Kyrgyzstan respectively.

GM Reefat beat IM Sagor lost to CM Sezdbekov Ruslan and CM Orozbaev Eldiar of Kyrgyzstan respectively.

The 7th, 8th and 9th round games of the open section will be held on October 18.

The 4th, 5th and 6th round matches of the women's section will be held on Saturday (October 17) at the same time.
