Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dragged down by insurers, ended lower on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, deducted 12 points or 0.19 per cent to settle at 6,212.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 4.08 points or 0.29 per cent to settle at 1,359.

Among other indices, DS30, the blue-chip index, shed 0.43 points or 0.38 per cent to close at 2,198.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stands at Tk 344.8 crore.
Of the issues traded, 23 advanced, 55 declined, and 221 did not see any price movement.
