New Bangladesh ambassadors to Indonesia, Nepal met President Hamid

Newly-appointed ambassadors of Bangladesh to Indonesia and Nepal paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the evening.
 
President's press secretary briefed reporters after the meeting.
 
Air Vice-Marshal Md Mostafizur Rahman and Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury are Bangladesh's new ambassadors to Indonesia and Nepal respectively.
 
During the meeting, the President said Bangladesh's relation with Indonesia and Nepal is very good and Bangladesh has huge opportunities for trade and investment with the countries.
 
Hamid directed the newly-appointed ambassadors to take advantage of this opportunity and take effective steps to develop bilateral relations with their assigned countries.
 
He wished the newly-appointed ambassadors success.
 
The ambassadors sought the President's guidance and overall cooperation in discharging their duties.
 
President's office secretary Sampad Barua, military secretary Major General SM Shamim-Uz-Zaman, press secretary Md Joynal Abedin and secretary (attached) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were present there.
