DU not to hold separate 'D', 'f' unit admission tests from next session

Deans' Committee of Dhaka University (DU) has decided not to take separate admission tests for 'D' (Social Science) and 'F' (Fine Arts) units from the 2021-22 academic year.

The decision was made on Sunday at a meeting of the committee chaired by DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman.

Admission tests for these two units will be merged with 'A' (Science), 'B' (Arts) and 'C' (Business) units.

Dr Sadeka Halim, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of DU, confirmed the news to The Business Post.

However, the admission tests for the 2020-21 academic year will be held according to the existing rules, several other reliable sources within the committee confirmed.
