Covid-19: Azizul Hakim on life support

Renowned actor Azizul Hakim, who tested positive for Covid-19 earlier, has been put on life support.

Anzam Masud, television presenter and media personality, confirmed the matter to The Business Post.

He said Hakim was diagnosed with novel coronavirus infection on November 10. His wife, Zeenat Hakim, a noted playwright, and their son Mohaimin Ridowan also tested positive. They all were receiving treatment at home.

But Azizul Hakim was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital around 8pm Thursday as his health condition deteriorated. He was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital within hours.
