12kg LPG cylinder price cut by Tk 35

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Sunday decreased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for a 12kg cylinder by Tk 35.

With the revised price, a 12kg cylinder will now cost Tk 1,200 for October. Earlier, the price of a 12kg container was fixed at Tk 1,235 in September.

The BERC, at a virtual briefing, announced the fresh price which will come into effect at 6:00pm Sunday.

The commission revises the LPG price every month in line with the international market price.

The price of auto gas used in vehicles has been fixed at Tk 56 per litre.

However, the price of LPG sold by state-owned LP Gas Limited remained unchanged at Tk 591 for a 12.5kg cylinder.
