The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Sunday increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for a 12kg cylinder by Tk 46 to Tk 1,297, which was previously Tk 1,251.
BERC Chairman Md Abdul Jalil announced the new price at a virtual press conference. The new price will be effective from 6pm on Sunday. As per the announcement, the price of autogas (LPG used for motor vehicles) has also been increased.
BERC Secretary Khalilur Rahman Khan, members Maqbul-e Elahi Chowdhury, Abu Faruque, and other high officials were also present at the press conference.
