Power plants in Bangladesh have set a new record for electricity generation to meet the growing demand.
The country generated 14,001MW of electricity at 9:00pm Thursday, according to the Bangladesh Power Development Board.
The previous highest production of power was 13,792MW generated on April 27, 2021.
The country's installed power generation capacity is over 25,000MW.
