The price of Brent crude oil futures with April delivery on London's ICE fell below $78 per barrel for the first time since January 22.
As of 17:17 Moscow time on Friday, the Brent price fell by 1.09 per cent to $77.96 per barrel.
By 17:27 Moscow time, Brent oil futures accelerated their decline and reached $77.72 (-1.37 per cent). At the same time, WTI crude oil futures with March delivery decreased by 1.93 per cent to $72.74 per barrel.
