The research cooperation signing ceremony between Bangladesh Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (BCSIR) and Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project (BTF) – funded by US Department of Agriculture (USDA) – took place on Thursday.
The signing took place in the meeting room of Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industry Research (BCSIR).
BCSIR Chairman Prof Dr Md Aftab Ali Shaikh was present as the chief guest, while Project Director (PD) Michael J Parr attended as the special guest.
The areas of partnership with BCSIR of this service agreement are Availability of Proficiency Testing (PT), Developing Automated Lab Information, Capacity building and training services for laboratory technicians, management & staff and laboratory testing facilities improvement.
Among others, Md Delwar Hossen, Member (Admin); with Dr Md Nazim Zaman - Member (Science & Technology), Member (Finance), Member (Development) BCSIR-Secretary Dr Md Selim Reza, senior scientists, and other officials were also present at the ceremony.
