Anjan Dutt’s debut web series ‘Murder In The Hills’ released

Streaming platform Hoichoi released its new crime thriller ‘Murder In the Hills’ on Friday. Directed by Anjan Dutt, the murder mystery stars Arjun Chakrabarty, Anindita Bose, Rajdeep Gupta, Sourav Chakraborty, Sandipta Sen and Suprobhat Das.

The series sets in the backdrop of Darjeeling while the story revolves around the suspicious death of a Bengali film star of the 1990s unravelling the pasts of people of the town, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Director Anjan Dutt plays an important role in this series. ‘Murder In the Hills’ also marks his directorial debut in the digital space.

Darjeeling has always played a pivotal role in most of Dutt’s work and it is no different for his debut digital work.

He spent most of his childhood in the hills of Darjeeling. That’s why in his first web series, the story of ‘Murder In The Hills’ was revolved around Darjeeling.

Anjan Dutt weaves the story of a city surrounded by mountains and few people of different professions. The series will reveal how everyone’s life is connected in a murder mystery.
