Deepika Padukone is gearing up for a never-before-seen action avatar for her next. After performing a few stunts in big Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, she will be seen throwing kicks and punches for ‘Pathan’, reports Times of India.
Pathan is already a highly anticipated film as Shah Rukh Khan returns to movies after almost three years. His last release was in 2018 with Zero. The film also brings the hit pair of Deepika and SRK for the fourth time after the successes of ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Happy New Year’. This time it’s for an action sequence.
According to news reports, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in a big action sequence at Burj Khalifa for ‘Pathan’. Reports claim that the action sequence is just like that of Tom Cruise in ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’. It will be a prolonged action sequence designed by an international stunt team, and one can expect spectacular visuals on the screen. It’s a culmination of Siddharth Anand, Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan’s vision, to shoot a massive action scene at Burj Khalifa, reports India Today.
Directed by Sidharth Anand, SRK essays the title role in this action entertainer, which stars John Abraham as the antagonist. Salman Khan has already shot for an entertaining cameo in ‘Pathan’, he will reportedly essay the iconic spy Tiger in ‘Pathan’.
Deepika Padukone has already wrapped up one schedule of ‘Pathan’ and more action waits for the Bollywood beauty.
Apart from ‘Pathan’, Deepika Padukone has a number of other films in her kitty. She will be seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled next. Deepika also has Nag Ashwin’s next with Prabhas, Then ‘The Intern’ remake, ‘Mahabharata’, ‘83’ and ‘Fighter’ are also in the pipeline for Deepika.
