Dhallywood stars Mamnun Hasan Emon and Airin Sultana are teaming up again for a romantic-action-thriller titled ‘Kagoj, The Paper’ for which they recently signed their contracts.
Confirming the news, Emon told The Business Post yesterday that he will be seen essaying the role of a writer in the film.
Directed by Zulfikar Ali Zahedi, the film is about the journey of a writer and his decaying philosophy. Zahedi himself has written the script of the film.
‘Kagoj, The Paper’ was expected to go on floors after this year’s Eid-ul-Azha which has been delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 induced nationwide lockdown.
Makers of the project are now waiting to kickstart the shooting once the virus situation improves.
Emon and Airin earlier teamed up for Delwar Jahan Jhantu’s 2019 folk fantasy film ‘Akash Mohol’.
