Actress Prosun Azad ties the knot

Model and actress Prosun Azad has tied the knot with her longtime friend Farhan, who is a businessman, in a low-key ceremony amid the ongoing nationwide Covid-19 lockdown.

The wedding took place at a mosque in the capital city on Friday in presence of family members of both the bride and groom abiding by the health rules.

Fans, friends and many of artistes congratulated the couple after Prosun took to her social media handle to share photos of the auspicious ceremony.

After their engagement on June 12 this year, Prosun and Farhan were scheduled to wed on July 23 which was postponed in the context of lockdown restrictions.

Prosun Azad started her career in acting after securing the position of first runner-up at the 2012 edition of Lux Channel i Superstar contest.

Apart from TV fictions, the actress also appeared in films like director Kazi Hayat’s ‘Shoronasha Yaba’, Nurul Alam Atique’s ‘Manusher Bagan’, Rashid Palash’s ‘Padma Puran’, Zayed Rezwan’s ‘Mrittupuri’ and Nishith Surjo’s ‘Payrar Chithi’.
