‘Ek Mutho Prem’ crosses 1m views in 12 hours

Eid special romantic comedy ‘Ek Mutho Prem’, starring Afran Nisho and Tanjin Tisha in the lead roles, crossed one million views on YouTube within 12 hours of its release. This comes as setting a new record that any drama made for Eid-ul-Azha touched the milestone of one million views in the fastest time.

Directed by Jakaria Showkhin, the drama that released on CMV’s YouTube channel on July 29, was viewed more than 26 lakh times as of Monday afternoon.

Apart from Nisho and Tisha, ‘Ek Mutho Prem’ also stars Faria Sharin, Saraf Ahmed Zibon, Chashi Alam, Tanzim Hasan Anik. The romcom is about the life of a poet and his love life.

“View means viewers! It is delightful to see that ‘Ek Mutho Prem’ has become the fastest drama (of all Eid dramas) to reach one million viewers,” director Showkhin said in a press release.

However, during this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr, Mosharraf Karim and Tanjin Tisha experienced the fastest one million views milestone for one of their dramas which garnered one million views within 11 hours of its release on YouTube.
