‘Money Heist 5’ trailer promises a thrilling season

The trailer for ‘Money Heist’ season 5 part one was released on Monday. As expected, it is jam-packed with action. The crime drama is only one month away from release, and the expectations are set to soar after watching the trailer, reports Variety.

The nearly two-minute video depicts the gang and The Professor at their weakest point. While the gang try to move on with Nairobi’s death, Lisbon’s entry into the Bank of Spain appears to be a catalyst. There are several flashbacks, presumably of Tokyo with her boyfriend who was killed by cops, Berlin’s backstory with Tatiana, and much more. Denver-Stockholm and Rio-Tokyo also seem to resolve their issues before taking on the enemy.

“This is no more a robbery. This is war.” The trailer hints at a war between the gang and the army that’s inside the bank.

Sergio, the Professor, on the other hand, is at the mercy of inspector Alicia Sierra. Sergio was seen handcuffed, chained, and tortured, but there’s more to it than meets the eye because this mastermind has miraculous escape plans for every time when things go south.

The makers of the Netflix crime drama promise a season that’s going to have incredible action, high voltage drama and unexpected twists. There’s some mystery around Berlin’s flashback cameo, Gandia gets a final blow from Tokyo too.

‘Money Heist 5’ will also be the final season. It will be released in two parts, the first of which will be available on Netflix on September 3 and the second of which will be available on Netflix on December 3.

The season features Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Najwa Nimri, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo and Pedro Alonso. Actors José Manuel Seda, Patrick Criado and Miguel Ángel Silvestre have joined the cast in the final season.
