Chanchal to start shooting of Anjan Dutt’s web series in September

Having won the hearts of the millions of viewers with his natural cinematic presence on both small and big screens, National Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury has also proven his ability in the web series.

After his maiden web series venture ‘Neel Dorja’, Chanchal Chowdhury continued to drive the audience crazy with his stunning performance in two more web series titled ‘Taqdeer’ and ‘Contract’.

Right this moment, Chanchal Chowdhury has his hand full with a number of web series. Of these productions, the actor is going to work in a new web series under the direction of veteran Indian filmmaker-actor-singer Anjan Dutt. The shooting of the web series is likely to commence in coming October, Chanchal Chowdhury informed.

“I have already talked to Anjan Dutt two or three times about working in the web series. Our latest conversation took place last Thursday. I may start working in his web series in October if the Covid situation improves. This is true that I have a desire to work under his direction. If everything goes as planned, hopefully we will start working together soon,” he said.

However, the shooting of Chanchal’s web series ‘Munshigiri’ directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is still in production. Chanchal Chowdhury said that he will return to work by taking part in the shooting of this web series before or after the National Mourning Day. Then, he will take part in the web series ‘Bali’ directed by Sankha Das Gupta. Moreover, he will also work in a web series directed by Tanim Noor.

Last Eid-ul-Azha, Chanchal acted in three seven-episode drama serials directed by Salah Uddin Lavlu, Dipu Hajra and Masud Sejan. All the dramas were written by Brindaban Das.

His movies titled ‘Hawa’ directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon and ‘Paap Punno’ directed by Giasuddin Selim are awaiting release. However, after the release of his web series ‘Taqdeer’ directed by Syed Ahmed Sawki, he has been receiving many offers to act in the movies from both India and Bangladesh. But the popular actor is not interested in working in a new movie before the release of ‘Hawa’ and ‘Paap Punno’.
