Ishana appears in new music video

Model-actress Mounita Khan Ishana, who is currently residing in Australia, has appeared in a music video made for singer Imon Ferdous’ interpretation of a Rabindra Sangeet.

The song ‘Amaro Porano Jaha Chay’, along with the music video, was released on the YouTube channel of RTV Music on Friday, marking the 80th death anniversary of great poet Rabindranath Tagore. Marvin Adhikary Rupam has arranged music for the song.

The release marks Ishana’s first-ever collaboration for a music video made for any Tagore song.

Apart from singer Imon Ferdous and Ishana, her husband Sarrief Chowdhury was also cast in the music video directed by Shimul Shikder and shot in Australia.

Ishana is currently waiting for the release of drama serial ‘Chirokumari Songho’ which is expected to be on air very soon.

Ishana shot to fame after securing the first runner-up prize at the Lux-Channel i Superstar 2009 contest. She secured her position as an actress and model by working on TV commercial, drama and telefilm.

She moved to Australia after marrying Sydney-based network operation engineer Sarrief Chowdhury in July, 2019.

Currently, Ishana is also working as an executive officer at a migration agency that works for Australian students.
