Tele-drama ‘Joker’ to be aired tonight

A single-episode tele-drama titled ‘Joker’ is scheduled to be aired tonight on NTV. Written by Taufiq Nawaz, the drama is directed by Kaushik Sankar Das. The drama features Afran Nisho, Jenny, Adnan Faruque Hillol and Nithor Mahbub in the lead roles.

In the story of the drama, with the makeover of a joker, a young man named Raja Roy entertains the people at different birthday programmes and other events. With a very small amount of income from this profession, he finds it very difficult to maintain his family. Actually, Raja came to capital city Dhaka five or six years ago to try his luck at becoming a professional actor. Even he joined a theatre troupe, but his dream was not fulfilled. One of his colleagues named Arpa from the troupe extended her hand and inspired Raja to realise his dream. At one point, Arpa also bids farewell from Raja’s life after a series of incidents.

NTV will air the drama tonight at 9:30pm.
