Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Shyam died in Mumbai at the age of 63, reports Indian Express. He had been suffering from kidney disease for several years and was admitted to the hospital approximately a week ago.
On Sunday, he was admitted to a city hospital’s critical care unit when his condition deteriorated.
The veteran actor breathed his last at Lifeline hospital, Goregaon around 1:30 am.
Anupam Shyam is well-known for his portrayal of antagonist Thakur Sajjan Singh in the STAR Plus serial ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’. ‘Sardari Begum’, directed by Shyam Benegal was his feature film debut. He also appeared in ‘Dastak’, ‘Dushman’, ‘Satya’, ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’, and ‘Parzania’.
