Singers Salma Akter, Laila, Shofi Mondal, Ankon Iasmin, Sharmin and Sadia Sultana Liza crossed the milestone of one-crore views on YouTube for their songs performed in Rtv’s popular music show ‘Folk Station’.
JK Majlish has directed music for all the songs while the show is produced and the music videos are directed by Nur Hossain Hira.
Closeup1 star Salma performed the song ‘Naya Daman’, written in Sylhet’s local dialect by Dibomoyi Das. The song already garnered more than one crore views on YouTube after it was uploaded on the YouTube channel of Rtv Music under Folk Station’s Season 3 on May 24 this year.
Folk singer Laila experienced huge response from the audience for her version of the much popular song ‘Sokhi Go Amar Mon Vala Naa’ which has been viewed more than five crore times on YouTube. Besides, two of her other songs crossed the one-crore views mark.
Popular Baul singer Shofi Mondal performed the popular number ‘Age Ki Sundor Din Kataitam’, along with Laila which has already crossed 1.93 crore views.
Singer Ankon Iasmin sang the song ‘Chengra Bondhua’ at the musical show which has been viewed more than two crore times.
Singer Sharmin reached the mark of one-crore views for her song ‘Ami Sajabo Tomare’. With the lyrics and tune done by Esak Sarkar, the song received more than 1.74 crore views in the voice of Sharmin.
In the show, promising singer Sadia Sultana Liza’s rendition of ‘Aj Pasha Khelbore Sham’ was enjoyed more than one crore times on YouTube.
