Kartik, Tabu back on sets with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’

Prolific filmmaker Anees Bazmee is back to shooting with Kartik Aaryan and National Award winning actor Tabu for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, the sequel of sorts to the 2007 hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ with Akshay Kumar, reports Bollywood Hungama.

Kartik who has been a signing spree this year is back shooting for Bazmee’s comedy which got delayed due to the pandemic. Bazmee stated earlier this month that he was returning to the set to restart filming on the film, which had been halted in March after Aaryan tested positive for COVID-19.

“I have spoken to my line producers and producer Murad Khetani. We will meet in a couple of days and then decide how we are going to start work. Our efforts are on for that.”said Anees Bazmee

Kartik Aaryan, the actor, announced on Instagram late Sunday evening that Tabu would be joining him for the shoot. 

“Begin Again #BhoolBhulaiyaa2,” Aaryan captioned the picture with Tabu.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” which also stars Kiara Advani, is a sequel to filmmaker Priyadarshan’s 2007 film of the same name. It was written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik.

The film is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, as well as Cine 1 Studios’ Murad Khetani.

It is a follow-up to the 2007 Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan hit film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. Kartik has the film ‘Dhamaka’ lined up, which is slated to release on an OTT platform. Kartik Aaryan was in the news recently for his controversial exit from the Karan Johar-produced “Dostana 2”.
