‘Networker Baire’ actors injured in Gulshan car crash

Five people including actors Shariful Razz, Khairul Basar, Nazifa Tushi and Jonayed Bukdadi, who acted in the recently released Chorki Original web series ‘Networker Baire’, were injured in a car accident in the capital’s Gulshan early Friday.

The other injured was identified as Nafij, a friend of Shariful Razz.

The news was confirmed by Gulshan police station officer-in-charge (OC) Abul Hasan.

The injured were admitted to United Hospital following the accident that happened around 3:00am at the Gulshan Avenue. Of them, two were moved to intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital with critical injuries.     

Khairul Basar said that the private car they were in lost its control and hit a roadside electric pole, leaving them injured.

“We were rushed to United Hospital immediately after the incident. Luckily, we survived. I’m still traumatised,” he added.

Shariful Razz, Nazifa Tushi, Khairul Basar and Jonayed Bukdadi are among the cast of director Mizanur Rahman Aryan’s debut web film titled ‘Networker Baire’. The team has been experiencing a very good response ever since the film’s release on over-the-top (OTT) platform Chorki on August 19.

As for Nazifa Tushi, the actress became the first runner-up in the 2014 edition of the Lux-Channel i Superstar contest. She, along with Shariful Razz made their cinematic debut with director Redwan Rony’s ‘Ice Cream’ in 2016.
