Having already appeared with celebrated actor Mosharraf Karim in several web series, popular actress Zakia Bari Mamo has garnered immense appreciation for her unique performance. The duo appeared last time in the much talked-about web series ‘Mohanagar’ on Hoichoi and was highly applauded by the audience for their impeccable performances.
Interestingly, the web series in which Mosharraf and Mamo worked together for the first time has not been released yet. In the latest development, the duo’s maiden web series titled ‘Bhalobasha’ is getting ready for its OTT release anytime soon, the director of the web series informed.
Written by Muntaha Britta, the four-episode web series is directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud.
In this web series, Mosharraf and Mamo will be seen playing the role of a couple.
“‘Bhalobasha’ is a completely family drama. Mosharraf Karim and I have played the roles of husband and wife in it. Storyline of the web series is about a typical middle-class family and their ups and downs. I will be seen as a very traditional middle-class wife in it,” Mamo told The Business Post on Saturday.
“I won’t reveal the climax of the series now. For that, the audience has to watch the series. I think everyone will enjoy our web series ‘Bhalobasha’,” she said.
Regarding working with Mosharraf Karim, Mamo said, “Mosharraf Karim is a very learned person and talented actor. Working with him has always been a pleasure for me and it’s like an opportunity to learn new things on the set. I feel very comfortable to work with him.”
Mosharraf and Mamo earlier acted in several other dramas under the direction of Abu Hayat Mahmud, including ‘Red Alert’ and ‘Shorno Manob’.
