Tanjin Tisha is one of the most popular actresses of the small screen. On the occasion of last Eid-ul-Azha, more than a dozen of her drama and telefilms were released on various television and YouTube channels. She received a huge response for some of the projects during the Eid festival.
Tisha was away from shooting for nearly one and a half months after Eid. She has recently returned to shooting with the SR Mazumder-directed drama ‘Olot Palot’ co-starring Mosharraf Karim with her.
Besides, she has recently been roped in for a female-centric web film titled ‘Lohar Tori’ directed by Sanjoy Somaddar.
The shooting of the film will begin from today, Tanjin Tisha confirmed The Business Post on Monday.
‘Lohar Tori’ is the story of a woman depicting her struggles, obstacles, ups and downs in life. It will also show how she survives the obstacles.
Earlier, Tanjin Tisha collaborated with director Sanjoy Samaddar for a web series, titled ‘Shikol’, which was also a female-based story. On the occasion of last International Women’s Day, Tisha worked in an online commercial video of a tea company named ‘TeanaturE’. She played a total of seven characters in the project, under the direction of Sanjoy Samaddar, and received very positive response from the audience as well.
Tanjin Tisha was widely applauded for her role in the TV feature film ‘Shahoshika’. Directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu, the film crossed 2.1 million views on YouTube within 10 days of its release.
