Apurba to tie the knot once again

Popular small-screen actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba is going to tie the knot with American-Bangladeshi Shamma Dewan today. The wedding, which is third time for Apurba, will take place in a small gathering at a community centre in the capital. Earlier, the engagement ceremony of the couple was held on Tuesday.

“This marriage is absolutely a family’s decision. My wife is born and brought up in America. Though her ancestral hometown is in Dhaka,” Apurba told the media.

Apurba said about the wedding arrangement, “Though I planned to invite everyone in the media to the wedding ceremony, it is not possible anymore because of the coronavirus pandemic. Then, I thought I would officially announce the news on September 3, the day after the wedding. But that did not happen in my way. Many people are making gossip on the matter. So, I decided to disclose the news. At this moment, I seek prayer and cooperation from everyone for my new life.”

Last year, Apurba and Nazia Hasan Audity got divorced after 9 years of their togetherness. Nazia Hasan Audity wrote about the divorce on her Facebook page on March 17, 2020. Apurba and Audity have a son named Ayyash.
