Season 5 of ‘Money Heist’ will premiere on Netflix in two parts in September and December 2021. Today, ‘Money Heist’ Season 5, Volume 1 will be released worldwide, reports Variety.
Volume 2 of the final season will be released worldwide on December 3, 2021.
When the Spanish series originally debuted on Netflix in 2017, it quickly became a worldwide success. The series is slated to return this year with its fifth season. The show’s original Spanish title is ‘La Casa de Papel,’ and it is commonly referred to as such. The crime drama series is currently one of Netflix’s most popular non-English shows. ‘Money Heist’ season 4, which premiered in April 2020, surpassed all prior viewing records by garnering over 65 million views.
Netflix released the first trailer for ‘Money Heist’ Season 5, volume 1 on August 2, 2021. According to reports, Season 5 will be two episodes longer than previous seasons, with a total of ten episodes to wind out the series. volume 1 and 2 will almost certainly include five episodes each. The trailer for the last season has an Easter egg. During the credits, the resistance anthem ‘Bella Ciao’ was playing.
The three new characters were also revealed by Netflix in the trailer. This includes Sagasta (played by José Manuel Seda), the Commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces. José Manuel Seda will make his acting debut as the “cold and vicious” Sagasta, Commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces, who is determined to bring down the Professor’s gang once and for all.
‘La Casa de Papel’ also stars Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Enrique Arce, Esther Acebo, Darko Perić, Kiti Mánver, Hovik Keuchkerian, Rodrigo de la Serna, Luka Peroš, Belén Cuesta, Fernando Soto, José Manuel Poga, Mario de la Rosa and Fernando Cayo.
