Fuad and Sumon team up for new song

Admired for their collaboration for the songs like ‘Gaibo Na’, ‘Ghum Pariye Dio’, ‘Ekhon Ami’,’Shopno Gulo Tomar Moto’ and ‘Ashru Brishti’, popular musician-composer Fuad Almuqtadir and celebrated bassist-singer Saidus Salehin Khaled Sumon, better known as Bassbaba Sumon, have teamed up once again for a new song after a long hiatus.

Fuad confirmed the news through a post on his verified Facebook page from New Jersey, USA.

Fuad recently posted an old photograph of the duo and captioned it “With @bassbaba. Who wants a new fuad x bassbaba song?” Numerous fans expressed their interest in listening to their new song. Interestingly, Sumon himself also wrote in the comment section, “I am ready!”. Two days after Sumon’s reply, Fuad wrote, “Game on! @bassbaba” with a screenshot of Sumon’s comment about his willingness for working together.

This is how two star musicians of the country have agreed openly on social media to work on a new song.

Fuad has been living in the United States for a long time. He recently came to Dhaka for a concert.

Meanwhile, Sumon, the vocalist of popular band Aurthohin, had to go under multiple surgeries due to cancer and spinal cord complications over the last few years. That’s why the singer hasn’t been able to come up with a new song for a long time.

Sumon recently performed in the wedding ceremony of his friend Raef Al Hasan Rafa, a former vocalist and drummer of Aurthohin. On the occasion, Sumon performed his famous song ‘Adbhut Chheleti’ which marked his first performance on the stage in the last two years.
