Sporshia’s ‘Kathbirali’ on small screen today

Starring popular actors Orchita Sporshia and Asaduzzaman Abir in the lead roles, ‘Kathbirali’, a 2019 Bangladeshi romantic drama film, will be aired today at 3:05 on Channel i, according to a press release issued by the TV channel.

‘Kathbirali’ was released in theatres across the country on January 17 in 2020 and had its world premiere on popular OTT platform Hoichoi on April 24 in 2020.

The film is directed by Niamul Hasan Mukta, while Muhammad Tasnimul Hasan wrote the script and dialogue for it.

In the story of ‘Kathbirali’, Hasu is a young, innocent village boy. He has none to be called as family in this world. That’s why he has made all the villagers his family members. Hasu’s life revolves around, love of his life, Kajol and his childhood friend, Anis. When finally Hasu is going to be settled and live happily ever after with Kajol, life takes an unexpected turn and everything falls apart. When Hasu’s love and friendship are at stake, what will Hasu do?

Sporshia and Abir played the roles of Kajol and Hasu in ‘Kathbirali’.

The film also stars Sayed Zaman Shawon, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, AK Azad Setu, Shahriar Ferdous Sajib, Hindol Roy, Tanvir Ahmed Anontow and Tanjina Rahman Tasnim in the supporting roles.

The film featured Selim Al Deen’s song ‘Sundor Konna’ in the voice of Baul Shofi Mondol alongside two other songs rendered by Dilshad Nahar Kona and Emon Chowdhury. The music of the film is also directed by Emon Chowdhury.
