Mahi ties the knot second time

Popular Dhallywood actress Mahiya Mahi has tied the knot for the second time with businessman and politician Kamruzzaman Sarker Rakib on Monday night. 

She posted a wedding photo on her Facebook account and wrote, “Alhamdulillah. Today, September 13, at 12:05 am, our wedding has been completed. Everything that spread before was really a rumor. Everyone, pray for us and this is our only desire.” 

Mahiya Mahi teased a surprise for her fans on September 13 in an earlier Facebook post.

Her husband Rakib Sarkar also announced the news of their wedding through a Facebook post.

Mahiya Mahi announced her first divorce on Facebook early this year. After the divorce, rumours started circulating based on actress’ various posts on the social media. In June, one of Mahi’s posts on Facebook created a huge buzz among her fans and followers when she wrote, “Well, I can feel you in songs, movies and everywhere”. Everyone thought she got married again.

Mahiya Mahi was married to Sylhet businessman Mahmud Pervez Opu in 2016, but the marriage ended in divorce in May this year. 

The actress is currently filming Shaheen Sumon’s upcoming web series ‘Mafia.’ Mahi made her film debut in 2012 with the Jazz Multimedia production ‘Bhalobashar Rong’ under the same director.
