Sonakshi wraps up horror-comedy film ‘Kakuda’

Sonakshi Sinha recently took to her Instagram handle to inform her fans that she wrapped the horror-comedy film ‘Kakuda’. The actress revealed that this is her first horror-comedy film, reports Times of India.

Sonakshi posted a picture with the team and penned a heartfelt note. The post was captioned as, ‘’Aaaand, it’s a wrap on Kakuda! My first horror comedy and What a ride it has been… beating covid, beating the rains, hectic night shifts, a roller coaster really… but what’s important is those smiles on our faces! Thank you to the entire team (a lot of them missing from this picture) for being absolute troopers!”

The film went on the floors on July 20. It marks the Hindi directorial debut of Aditya Sarpotdar, the man behind critically acclaimed Marathi films like - ‘Classmates’, ‘Mauli’ and ‘Faster Fene’. The film will be released digitally in 2022. The makers are yet to announce a streaming platform for the film.

Kakuda helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar and will feature Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles. As per reports, Riteish will be seen playing the role of a ghostbuster.The film is slated to release digitally in 2022.
