Star Cineplex to open 5th branch in Bogura

The country’s first multiplex chain Star Cineplex is going to open its fifth branch in Bogura.

The new branch will be launched at the Police Plaza at Satmatha intersection of Nawab Bari Road in Bogura in collaboration with Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust.

The Star Cineplex authorities will sign a formal agreement with officials of Police Kallyan Trust on October 3, said a press release.

The signing ceremony will be held at the Padma Hall room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. The ceremony will start at 5pm and end at 6pm.

The details about the new branch will be disclosed at the signing ceremony, added the release.

Star Cineplex launched its journey on October 6, 2004, at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in the capital.

In addition to Hollywood films, local films are also regularly screened here.

The Star Cineplex also has three branches at the SKS Tower in Mohakhali, Shimanto Shomvar in Dhanmondi and newly launched Sony Square in Mirpur. .

This is first time Star Cineplex will be launching its branch outside Dhaka.
