Shooting of ‘Tungiparar Duhshahashi Khoka’ begins

Director Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar has started the shooting of his next film ‘Tungiparar Duhshahashi Khoka’, based on the childhood and early youth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The shooting began at Tungipara of Gopalganj, the birthplace of Bangabandhu.

Prior to starting the shoots, the film unit paid tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib by placing wreaths at their mausoleum in Tungipara.

Confirming the news to The Business Post, director Gulzar said on Friday that the film will be shot in Tungipara for three consecutive days. The next schedule of shooting will be in Syedpur of Nilphamari.

‘Tungiparar Duhshahashi Khoka’ won the government grants for the fiscal year 2019-20.

The film has Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Lutfar Rahman George, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Rahmat Ali, Golam Farida Chanda, Elina Shammi and Soumya Jyoti in various roles.
