Babu-Salma’s first duet ‘Sakhi’ released

Popular actor Fazlur Rahman Babu once again lent his voice for a new song titled ‘Sakhi’.

CloseUp1 star Salma has collaborated with him in the duet song, marking their first-ever such singing project.

Penned by Tareq Ananda, the song has its music and composition done by MMP Rony. The song is already released on the YouTube channel of ‘Sultan Entertainemnt’.

Regarding the song, Fazlur Rahman Babu said, “Melodious songs are always loved by the listeners. I really liked the melody and lyrics of the new song and that’s why I was able to sing it with ease. I hope the audience will like it.”

“Salma is a very talented singer. Though I have not worked with her before, but it was a great experience collaborating with her for ‘Sakhi’,” he added.

Salma said, “Babu Bhai is a brilliant actor as well as a great singer. His previous songs have been applauded by the audience. I have learnt a lot from him while working on this song. This is my first duet with him. I want to do work more with him in the future.”

“We are getting a positive response from the audience for ‘Sakhi’. I am feeling very happy that they loved our collaboration,” added the singer.

On the work front, Fazlur Rahman Babu has several government grant-winning films including ‘Bangabandhur Chhelebela’, ‘Jamdani’ and the ‘Bangabandhu’ biopic.

‘Dhaka Dream’ featuring him in the lead role is scheduled for release on October 22.
