Chanchal’s ‘Taqdeer’ bags Promax India Awards

Syed Ahmed Shawki directed web series ‘Taqdeer featuring popular Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead role, has bagged the Best Regional Web Series of the year in the ‘Gold’ category in the prestigious Promax India Awards.

Chanchal shared the news with his fans in a Facebook post on Sunday.

“Taqdeer won the Best Regional Web Series of the year in a Gold category in Promax India Awards. Congratulations Team Taqdeer !!!” wrote Sakib R Khan, Hoichoi Bangladesh Lead.

‘Taqdeer’ was premiered on the streaming platform Hoichoi in December 2020.

Along with Chanchal Chowdhury, the 8-episode web series stars Manoj Pramanik, Partha Barua, Sanjida Preety and Sohel Mondal Rana, among others.

Chanchal earned a lot of praise for his outstanding performance in ‘Taqdeer’.

‘Taqdeer’ had to compete with other contents published from streaming platforms ZEE5 Global, Alt Balaji, Hotstar and Voot to win the award.
