Mou gears up for her digital debut with ‘Six’

Popular model and actress Sadia Islam Mou is making her debut in web platform with a thriller web series titled ‘Six’ directed by Tanim Parvez. Recently, the shooting of the web series has completed.

Sadia Islam Mou has confirmed the news to The Business Post on Monday.

Mou said, “It feels great working with Tanim Parvez. I have worked with him before. He is a brilliant director. He has taken care of every little detail of the series. That’s what I like about him. Another thing that had me excited is that we have shot the web series in various locations. We shot it in Chittagong University too. Overall, it was a great experience.”

Regarding her character in ‘Six’, she said, “I am playing the role of a woman who works in a scientific lab. A clone sample gets missing from the lab and the story continues from there. Actually, this is a very interesting story. That’s why I was intrigued to work in the web series. There will be a second season too.”

Another actor of the series, Yash Rohan told The Business Post, “It will definitely be a thriller. I have found its storyline is unique that’s why I have joined the series. I have played the role of an investigative officer in it who will investigate a crime scene. I can’t disclose anything other than that at this moment.”

When asked about the expectation from the audience about the series, Mou said, I hope the audience receives the web series positively and understand the plot. We only hope that the audience love our series.

The web series is being made under the banner of production house Red Paid Studio.

According to Mou, the editing and post-production of the web series is currently in progress. If all goes well, it will be released this year. ‘Six’ would be streaming from ‘Eros Now’ app soon.

The star-studded series also stars Aparna Ghosh, Sohail Mandal, Tariq Anam Khan, Yash Rohan, Ashok Byapari and filmmaker Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi, among others.
