The vocalist of band Oblique, R Bashar Lisan, who was with the band for around seven years and a half, has left the band. He made the disclosure in a Facebook post on Saturday.
Lisan wrote, “My journey with ‘Oblique’ ended yesterday. In this journey of the last seven and a half years, I have become what I am today and I have learned a lot. You have recognised my voice, you have given me a lot of love. I will be forever grateful to the band for all the good memories that I have shared with my band members.”
“My journey with the band ended. Whether the journey with music is over - I don’t know yet. I have composed few songs of mine. If I feel the urge and desire to record the song, I will probably bring it in front of everyone when the right time comes,” he wrote.
Oblique was formed in 2005 and has released three albums — an EP in 2009, a self-titled album in 2013, and their second album ‘Aloron’ in 2018. In addition to these albums, three singles were released in 2015 titled, ‘Bhondo’, ‘Koishor’, and ‘Stobdho’
