The makers have released the official trailer of the much-awaited action thriller ‘Mission Extreme’ featuring a star-studded cast of Arifin Shuvoo, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sadia Nabila, and Taskeen Rahman in lead roles.

A colourful program was held at NTV Studio at Tejgaon on Sunday, to mark the release of the trailer of the first part of ‘Mission Extreme’. The director, artistes and the crew of the film were present at the event.

Besides, Monirul Islam, Additional IGP of Special Branch of Bangladesh Police, attended the programme as the chief guest.

The film is directed jointly by Faisal Ahmod and Sunny Sanwar. Mime Multimedia and Dhaka Detective Club are the co-producers of the movie.

The 2.46-minute trailer of the film looks intriguing and action-packed. It shows Arefin Shuvoo in the role of a police officer who fights against the terrorist.

Watching the trailer, people are posting various speculations about the story on social media.

The audiences have expressed their regrets about not seeing Oishee in the trailer for a longer time.

“This film is not about me or Arefin Shuvoo. This film is based on the police operation against terrorists. The importance of characters determined the screentime of the film’s cast. The trailer is only about 2.5 minutes. I understand that my fans want to see me more. I hope they won’t regret after watching the film,” Oishee told to The Business Post.

“I am very excited and nervous as the release date of my debut film approaches. But I hope the audience will like our film. I am very lucky to work in such a star-studded film in my debut,” she added.

The film’s plot is based on some of the operations of Bangladesh Police’s Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit, a specialised branch designed to combat terrorism and transnational crimes. The film has its story, screenplay and direction done by Superintendent of Police Sunny Sanwar.

The film will hit the theatres on November 3 worldwide.

Director Sunny Sanwar said, “We have discussed and given green signal to release the film in eight countries. The film will be released in all the big cinema halls across Bangladesh, including the rural ones.”

The film has an ensemble cast of Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Majnun Mizan, Iresh Zaker, Manoj Pramanik, Aref Syed, Sudip Biswas Deep, Rashed Mamun Apu and Ehsanul Rahma.
