Shohortoli to launch new song on 17th anniversary

Theatrical rock band Shohortoli has announced their new song titled ‘Mukti’ in their official Facebook page on the occasion of their 17th anniversary.

The band also has shared the official promotional video of the song ‘Mukti’ on Monday night.

The song ‘Mukti’ will be premiered at a programme to be held at the Liberation War Museum Auditorium on October 29 marking Shohortoli’s 17th Anniversary. Around 300 people are invited including celebrities and media personalities to the event. 

The promotional video of the song shows that a man is running from his house to free a bird from the cage. In the end, it has been shown that the man freed the bird taking the cage to a green field.

The fans of the band have already liked the promotional video of the song and commented on the video. The ticket of the concert is available online.

Shohortoli has won the hearts of the youngsters by their poetic lyric since their inception in 2006. They have released 3 albums titled, ‘Borabor Shohotoli’ in 2010, ‘Opor Prishtha Droshtobyo’ in 2013 and ‘Ekhon..Ekhane..’ in 2019.

In the lineup of Shohortoli, Mishu Khan is on the vocal and acoustic guitar, Zillur Rahman Shohag is the performing vocal, Mustofa Zaman summon is on the lead guitar and Khaled Bashar Atnu is on the keyboard while Isnat Jabir Ahmed is the drummer and Rajibur Rahman is the bass guitarist.
