Shah Rukh Khan turned 56 yesterday. It’s an occasion for triple celebration as SRK is not just celebrating his birthday, but also the return of his son, Aryan Khan, from Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail and Diwali, reports India Today.
Like every year, gifts for SRK from his friends and colleagues started coming in for his birthday. Bollywood celebrities like Ekta Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra sent gifts for King Khan on Monday.
His home Mannat has been decorated with lights ahead of his birthday as many fans made a beeline for what has become a landmark in Mumbai.
Every year, on his birthday, the superstar greets the fans gathered outside his residence by appearing on the parapet to express his gratitude towards them. However, it is unclear whether he will continue with the tradition this year.
Taking to Instagram, Karan Johar shared a string of pictures with SRK and wrote, “ I met him on the sets of Karan Arjun for the first time …. I tagged along with my father to hang out with Kajol… not realising I was going to meet a man who would go on to shape my life , my career and my very being ….his charisma and intelligence is a globally known fact … but I have the privilege of witnessing his humanity and heart… an unmatchable father … a rock solid husband … a loving brother and an indispensable friend …. He is all that and so much more …Love you so much Bhai … may every Mannat of yours get answered and the abundant love you rightfully deserve keep coming your way. Happy birthday!”
The actor is expected to return to films after his hiatus with Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ that also co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He is also said to be a part of a film being directed by filmmaker Atlee.
