Have given my heart, soul and tears for ‘Prithviraj’, says Manushi

Yash Raj Films has released the first teaser of their upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’ featuring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar in the lead role. This film marks the debut film of the former winner of Miss World 2017, Manushi, reports Hindustan Times.

The film is based on the life of legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Akshay Kumar. The teaser then shows glimpses of Manushi Chillar dressed as a bride, playing the role of Sanyogita. The clip also confirms Sonu Sood’s role in the film.

Talking about her big-screen debut in Bollywood, Manushi stated, “I’m eternally grateful to YRF and my director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi for not only believing in me but also for making me believe that I could play the role of the legendary princess Sanyogita.” She said, ‘’I have given my heart, soul and tears to this film and I hope that people will like my effort in playing such an iconic real-life legend on the big screen.”
