An ensemble of 10 singers has collaborated on a brand-new patriotic song to celebrate the upcoming Victory Day on December 16 and also the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.
Titled ‘Laal Sabujer Feriwaala’, the song is written by Prosenjit Ojha while Shovon Roy has done its composition and music arrangement.
Singers Belal Khan, Lutfor Hasan, Badhon Sarker Puja, Abanti Sithi, Tasnim Anika, Ishika, Mahtim Shakib, Mahdi Sultan, Shovon Roy and Tasmi have lent their voice to the song.
A music video was shot for the song in Panam Nagar of Sonargaon in Narayanganj on Saturday. It will be released on the YouTube channel Studio Protunebd on December 1.
Lyricist and proprietor of record label Protune, Prosenjit Ojha told The Business Post, “We produce songs during various national occasions each year. The lyrics of the song ‘Laal Sabujeer Ferwala’ was prepared earlier and I have a plan to execute it in the voice of various artists together. As we are already celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh and the Victory Day is approaching, I fixed my mind to execute the song on this occasion.”
“I have worked with most of the performers of this song on separate occasions from Protune before. I thought of teaming up with them while planning the song ‘Laal Sabujer Feriwaala,’ added the lyricist.
Prosenjit said further, “Shooting of the music video was done on Saturday. It will be released on Protune’s YouTube channel on the first day of December. We have a plan to broadcast the song on TV channels as well.”
