Noted director Yeon Sang-ho gives a hint of making the third sequel of the film ‘Train To Busan’ to Variety on Saturday. It’s been over a year that sequel to ‘Train to Busan’, ‘Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula’ released, reports Variety.
Sang-ho instructed Variety that he has some concepts for a 3rd movie in the sequence and whereas he did be aware that there are numerous tasks in his hand, but the zombie motion sequence is one he’d like to proceed.
“There are a lot of ideas I’ve been tossing around but I personally think that for ‘Train to Busan’, I would like to continue that as a film series,” Sang-ho mentioned.
Sang-ho additionally mentioned that he’d take an identical strategy to a 3rd movie as he did to Peninsula. As followers might recall, ‘Train to Busan’ and Peninsula primarily happen throughout the identical universe with Peninsula serving as a standalone sequel to the primary movie.
“I would say that – in terms of that universe – they’ll all become related together,” Sang-ho mentioned.
“Peninsula was a post-apocalyptic film that focused on the car chases. The story that I’m thinking about after that would be closer to ‘Train to Busan’, where the story will be carried out in a small and restricted space. That’s something that I have in mind currently. So, in terms of the genre, you could say that it’s between ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘Peninsula’,” he further added.
Meanwhile, the director’s super hit series ‘Hellbound’ rose to the top of Netflix’s global Top 10 non-English shows beating ‘Squid Game’.
