Private television channel Ntv is scheduled to start airing a brand-new drama serial titled ‘Friendbook’, directed by Goutam Koiri, from today.
The ensemble cast of ‘Friendbook’ has Tasnuva Tisha, Irfan Sajjad, Meem Chowdhury, Khairul Bashar, Imtiaz Barshon, Farah Nanjiba Torsa, Fakhrul Basher Masum, Shamima Nazneen, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, and Hindol Roy, among others.
Written by Matia Banu Shuku, ‘Friendbook’ is the story of three friends—Naziba, Nishat and Purna—who share the same flat in a city, and their struggles in pursuing their life goals.
Nishat is a broken family girl who came to the city after cancelling her wedding only to fulfil her dreams in life and become self-reliant. She works for an NGO besides her studies while Purna loves performing dance and reading books. Her aim in life is to be a high-ranked government official in the future for which she will have to pass BCS exam. As the story progresses, Purna falls in love with a young man named Nirab.
No matter what, three girls remain adamant against all odds and strive hard to reach their dreams in life.
The 26-episode serial will be broadcast on Ntv at 9:40pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week, said a press release.
