Lindsay Lohan announces engagement

Actress Lindsay Lohan announced she is engaged to fiancé Bader Shammas in a series of Instagram photos on Sunday, reports People.com.

“My love. My life. My family. My future,” Lohan, 35, wrote on Instagram while showing off her new engagement ring.

The ‘Rumors’ singer and Shammas can barely contain their smiles in the carousel of four photographs. Lohan’s engagement ring was seen in all four shots.

Shammas is the Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse in Dubai, where Lohan has called home for the last seven years. They have been dating for two years, according to The Independent.

He confirmed their engagement by retweeting his fiancée’s announcement on Twitter.

‘The Herbie: Fully Loaded’ famed actress, who was previously engaged to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov ahead of their 2016 split, has also been gearing up to make her return to the big screen. Earlier this year, it was announced that Lindsay will star in a new Netflix holiday romantic comedy alongside Glee’s Chord Overstreet, according to a report of Us Weekly Magazine.

In the film, she plays a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets amnesia after a skiing accident,” per the official film longline. While there, she “finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”

Lindsay shared the first photo from the set earlier this month via Instagram, gushing over her role, “Back at work and couldn’t be happier! Action!”

The Georgia Rule actress also announced a brand-new podcast to facilitate meaningful conversations with her friends and show guests. “I’m excited to partner with Studio 71 in the development and production of my podcast,” Lindsay explained via Instagram in October.
