Roshan, Priya together for first time

Dhallywood actor Ziaul Roshan and actress Priya Moni are teaming up with Bengal Multimedia Ltd for an upcoming film that is yet to be titled.

The signing ceremony of the film was held at RTV office on Tuesday. Along with Roshan and Priya, Syed Ashiq Rahman, RTV CEO and Director of Bengal Multimedia Ltd, and Dewan Shamsur Rakib, RTV programme chief, and other officials attended the event.

The film is directed by Masud Mohiuddin and Mahamud Hasan Shikder. The film has its dialogue and screenplay written by Fazlul Haque Akash.

Director Masud Mohiuddin said, “I have worked with Bengal Multimedia in the past. Now, I am going to make a new film under the same banner. What could be happier than it? We are going to come up with a different kind of story in this film. Thanks to Bengal Multimedia Ltd and RTV for this great opportunity. I don’t want to disclose anything about the story right now. We are keeping everything in secret as a surprise for now.”

Regarding the film, Roshan said, “I have done three productions with Bengal Multimedia. In fact, I am very lucky. I have received the blessings and love of many great people in a short time. One of them is Syed Ashiq. I am grateful to him. This kind of film will bring something new in the film industry because the audience wants to see good stories. I hope they will love the film.”

Priya Moni said, “I loved the story of this film. I think it is going to be a great film. This is the story of an ordinary woman becoming extraordinary. I don’t want to disclose the story for now. We want everyone’s blessings and love for all of us so that we can start the work soon and give a good movie to the audience.”

The shooting of the untitled film will start in various locations of the country including Dhaka soon, said its makers in a press release Wednesday.
