Actress Sunerah Binte Kamal will be seen in director Abrar Athar’s upcoming anthology series titled ‘A Night to Remember’ which is scheduled to be released on the streaming platform Chorki.
Sunerah took to her Instagram handle to share a photo from the sets of the series recently.
Talking to The Business Post on Saturday, Sunerah said, “After the film ‘No Dorai’, this is the first script that attracted me so much that I said yes to director Abrar without any hesitation. My shooting experience in ‘A Night to Remember’ was so fun and good that I enjoyed every moment. I can say that the audience will love this series because of its unique storyline and dialogues.”
The shooting of the series has completed on Wednesday, she informed.
“Every character in this series is very entertaining and interesting. I can say that the audience won’t get bored after watching it,” Sunerah said further.
‘A Night to Remember’ features actor Yash Rohan alongside Sunerah. Regarding working with him, the actress said, “We have been friends for a long time. So, working with him is always fun. I have enjoyed collaborating with him in the series.”
‘A Night to Remember’ is a dark comedy that sheds light on social problems in a satirical way. According to director Abrar Athar, this is an anthology series where the two other episodes are directed by Piplu R Khan and Mejbaur Rahman Suman.
Abrar said, “I can say that the making of this series has been wonderful. The audience will love it. It came out very different from other comedy films in our country. We have tried to portray the social problems in a dark, satirical way that will entertain the audience. We will not force the audience to laugh with awkward comedy scenes. Those who have seen dark comedy films from western countries, I think they will definitely love it.
Alongside Sunerah and Yash, the Chorki Original series stars Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rosey Siddiqui and Rokeya Prachi among others.
Having won the Best Actress award at the National Film Awards 2019, for her debut film ‘No Dorai’, Sunrah Binte Kamal currently has the cyber-thriller ‘Antarjaal’ in her hand.
